The UNM Paving and Transportation Conference wants you to join in on our 61st Conference! Last year, the UNM PTC was attended by over 750 people from across the Southwest! Our attendees include engineers, heavy equipment operators, planners, managers, officials, and more. Presenting your work at the conference will provide you with a unique opportunity to discuss state-of-the-art research, best practices, innovations, and more.
This year, the UNM Paving & Transportation Conference is seeking abstract submissions for a variety of topics within the Pavement Tract and the Transportation Tract. Abstracts should be submitted for one (or more) of the following topics:

Addressing challenges with emerging technologies in pavement design | Safety |
Resilient pavement design for arid climates | Weather prediction models and impacts on pavement and transportation |
Intelligent compaction, rapid construction | Transportation planning, intelligent transportation |
Recycling, low-carbon pavement materials and binders, RAP, rejuvenators | Emerging construction, engineering, and project delivery |
Pavement sensing technologies | Traffic sensing technologies |
Navigating changes in Pavement and transportation technologies to address challenges in Tribal and NM communities |
Please submit ONE abstract per form. If you intend to submit more than one topic, please submit this form for each subsequent topic.
Submissions must be received by September 30, 2025 for consideration by the conference program committee.
If your abstract is selected, you will be notified by October 1, 2025.
